House of the Dragon will show dragons being used both as protectors of Targaryen factions as well as as powerful weapons in a war known as the Dance of the Dragons. Balerion The Black Dread
Balerion, the oldest and largest Targaryen dragon, was first ridden by Aegon The Conqueror and then by King Viserys I. The black and red mal dragon, which was a black and red color, has already died by the time House of the Dragon begins. However, his massive skull can be seen at the Red Keep.
Vhagar
Vhagar, an old female Targaryen dragon and the second largest of all Targaryen dragons, is Queen Visenya’s horse during Aegon’s victory. They collaborated to defeat the Arryn fleet at Gulltown. Vhagar, named for the Old Valyrian god, will play a part in the events of House of the Dragon.
Syrax (Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Dragon)
Rhaenyra Targaryen (Ella D’Arcy), Rhaenyra Targaryen’s niece, is another important character in House of the Dragon. Syrax, Rhaenyra’s dragon, will be a key part of the show. Syrax is larger than most dragons but not as powerful or large as Caraxes. Syrax is yellow in color and was named after Rhaenyra, a Valyrian goddess. Both of these characteristics suggest that Rhaenyra was her first rider.
Meleys – Rhaenys Targaryen’s Dragon
Eva Best will portray Princess Rhaenys Velaryon Velaryon, the cousin of King Viserys. Meleys, a dragon named Meleys, flies with Rhaenys just like it does with Rhaenyra or Daemon. Meleys is a red dragon with brilliant skin, much like Caraxes. Meleys, after Vhagar, will be discussed below. She is one of the largest and oldest dragons.
Tessarion
If there is a Red queen, then there must be a Blue queen. Tessarion, a cobalt-blue dragon, has copper belly scales and claws and a crown. She is also known as the Blue Queen. You’ll notice that Tessarion has flames that are exactly the same color as her hair and eyes as Meleys. Daeron Targaryen is the youngest son of Viserys I, Alicent Hightower and the Daring. He is bonded with the dragon Tessarion. This series can be viewed on 123 movies.
Dreamfyre
Three dragons that Daenerys Targaryen has three are believed to be Dreamfyre’s. Rhaena Targaryen was the first granddaughter of Aegon, the Conqueror. She was the first to be connected with the she-dragon, which is light blue and silver. She remained in Dragonpit after Rhaena’s passing and became close with Helaena, Viserys’ daughter with Alicent Hightower.
Stormcloud
Stormcloud, the youngest Dance of the Dragons participant’s dragon, is not mentioned in canon. He is married to Aegon III. Stormcloud sails Aegon III, Viserys and Aegon III to safety after an attack on the ship that was transporting them.
